Project 1: An experience abroad that matches your personality

Context

When? Where? Who? Why?

Depression. Bad experiences of moving abroad are a problem for students. When they get destinations that doesn't match their personality and project, they are unsatisfied. Bad choices can generate depression abroad which is a complicated situation because students are far away from their family and friends. Some people ask to return after only a short period of time, such is the disappointment is overwhelming. Therefore, every student has to make the right choice. We must be sure that he or she will not regret the choice. Thus, Students need to be informed enough about their destination to be sure they want to go there and our aim is to guarantee that. We will try to put in contact students with universities, cities and countries which fit their personnality. By asking the right questions to precise students desires, needs and wishes we will match them with the perfect destination for them.

You think that all experiences abroad are outstanding ? Let me tell you a quick story. One of my closest friend had to do a year abroad, it was mandatory for his studies.He went to India. He thought it would be a dream. But as soon as he arrived, he went through hell. Administrative problems, cultural gap, economic difficulties, total difference between his perception of India and the reality. He ahd to come back after only a month. He had been struck by what some call India Syndrome. There are thoushands of cases like him. However, living an experience abroad is a unique opportunity and it should not happen. That's why we're here.

We provide a free website available on smartphones and computers. Students create a free account and arrive on an easy to use interface. It offers a personality test in order to determine in which country the student may have the best experience. Artificial intelligence match the student personnality with the country best suited for him. You're wondering how it works ? It's easy. Using deep learning the Artifical Intelligence will learn from you. What you like and what you don't.If you're more familiar with the Netflix recommandation system, take the Netflix recommandation system as an example. Netflix takes every movie you watch into account to analyze your preferences and suggest new movies you might like to watch that appeal to your tastes. Our artificial intelligence works in exactly the same way, but in greater depth. Our AI will have access to certain amounts of information about you and your background in order to know your interests. We will also set up a thorough personality test in order to obtain the most conclusive results for our clients. There is a ranking of country in order to provide several options. For every country there is also a section where you can find practical information such as testimonials from other students, the budget needed to live there and information about the local culture.

Project 2: Find your job student

Context

When? Where? Who? Why?

While being abroad, students often need to fund their studies, they need a student job, just for the duration of their stay. On the other hand, many provinders of job opportunities need international workers who speak english fluently to manage touristic visits or work in bars and saloons frequented by tourists and international workers. Therefore, we can get a win-win situation enhancing demand and supply sides in local market of the exchange city and thus contribution to the economic life of the country and the well being of international students.

For whom?

This platform offers international students who wants to find student jobs to finance their studies. It also allows these students to create a link with residents of their new country.

Service offered

What? How?

We offer a mobile application linking international employers and students. Students create an account with their skills and resume of previous experience.Employers post their demande with a short resume of what they need. Depending on the skills of students and the needs of employers, job offers are proposed to students. These offers cover a period from a few weeks to several months. On the mobile app you can find the offers depending on your location. The algorithm will match a set of criteria to allow demand and supply to meet. For example, these criteria will include specific jobs as "server", but also duration and availability. Depending on the results, the application will show you the jobs that are geographically closest to each other. This will be done through a sharing of employer locations that will be taken into account by the artificial intelligence.
